Unsere wunderschöne Naturkita liegt direkt im Umkreis von Hamburg-Stellingen, und zwar in Lokstedt
Since February 2025, we have welcomed children to our lovingly renovated Stadtküken Nature-Kita Johann's Garden on Brödermannsweg. Among old trees, shrubs, and nature-based play equipment, our little ones enjoy daily timeouts in nature.
The building and the newly designed outdoor area offer space for discovery, play, and rest. The bright, open rooms invite comfort and create a sense of security.
Our educational team accompanies each child mindfully and individually. With nature and sustainability projects, mindfulness exercises, and participatory day planning, we foster self-confidence, self-efficacy, and creativity.
"We encourage our children to actively perceive, name, and categorize their feelings."

Activities
Projects on nature and sustainability, excursions, and explorations in the immediate surroundings foster curiosity, creativity, and a mindful view of the world.
Nutrition
A shared breakfast, the daily snack break (afternoon snack), and freshly prepared, nutrient-rich organic meals according to DGE standards promote healthy eating, well-being, and community in the daycare routine.
Garden project
In their own garden, children experience how vegetables grow and learn sustainable gardening. From sowing to harvesting, children experience the cycle of nature up close.
Mindful and individual perception of each child
Nature as a central place for learning and play
Children actively shape their daycare day
